On Saturday, Parliament Deputy Speaker and Chairman of the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council Mohamed Abou El-Enein reviewed the size of Egypt's new achievements before the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council.
During his meeting with the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council, and Portuguese Ambassador to Cairo Manuela Franco, Abou El-Enein said that the biggest example of the size of the achievements that took place during the 7 years President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took over the rule of the country is the New Administrative Capital (NAC). He added that NAC is witnessing a boom in modern building designs, and areas for money and business, planned on the latest models, and every day has many big changes.

He also confirmed that Egypt enjoys a large market size as a result of the international and regional agreements it signed regarding customs exemptions, special economic zones and laws supporting investment.
The parliament deputy speaker pointed out to the nature of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) of the low tax.
Abou El-Enein thanked the former Portuguese ambassador who supported relations between Cairo and Lisbon, as well as the Portuguese president who met him during the United Nations General Assembly.
He praised the measures taken by Egypt during the Coronavirus pandemic, especially the initiatives of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to relieve Egyptian industrialists and under the directives of President Sisi.
The Egyptian MP indicated the investment opportunities available in Egypt. He mentioned his experience at the beginning of investing in Egypt, where he cooperated with an Italian company to bring in its technological expertise, but after a while, the company recognized the strength of the Egyptian market.
After that, exhibitions were established for the Italian company then it managed to build 90 factories around the world thanks to the success of its experience in Egypt. Abou El-Enein added: "Manufacturers from different parts of the world used to visit our factory as a model of success."
Aboul-Enein advised the Portuguese, to invest in Egypt, or build industrial partnerships in Egypt, where there are many success stories and more other successes can also be achieved.
With regard to the marble industry, the parliament deputy speaker explained the state's interest in this industry, as there are different types of marble and granite everywhere in Egypt, in addition to the discovery of gold in Marsa Alam.
Abou El-Enein explained Egypt's interest in sustainable industries and investments, as well as circular industries, revealing the direction of EgyptAir during the coming period to launch a direct line between Cairo and Lisbon, which stopped due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
