Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein congratulated Al-Ahly SC, its Board of Directors, and its fans for winning the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup.
"I extend my sincere congratulations to the giants "Al-Ahly club", its fans, and its board of directors headed by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, for winning the third place and the bronze medal in the Club World Cup, in a new global achievement for Egyptian sports," Abou El-Enein said.
He praised the management team and players for their good performance, their fighting spirit, and for their excellent representation of their country among the most distinguished clubs in the world.
"Al-Ahly deserved the honor of winning the bronze medal after a hard training season during which it managed to win the African championship and qualify to represent the continent in the biggest club-level tournament in the world," the deputy speaker added.
"I extend my wishes for Al-Ahly and all Egyptian teams success in all competitions and tournaments under a political leadership that considers sport as a way to build the human being, uphold the values of humanity and reject fanaticism," he concluded.
