Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein strongly condemned the devastating attack by Israeli forces on the Al-Ma'madani Hospital in Gaza.

The Al-Ma'madani Hospital, a beacon of hope for many in Gaza, faced a grave tragedy. The Israeli bombardment resulted in a high casualty count, including doctors, patients, children, and women. This assault has since sparked significant international outcry.

In a statement, Abou El-Enein labeled the attack as a war crime. He emphasized Israel's pattern of committing severe and, at times, unprecedented human rights violations, with the recent actions being dubbed the "21st century's most extensive act of extermination."

Reminding the global community of past events, the Deputy Speaker paralleled the Al-Ma'madani incident to other historical tragedies instigated by Israeli forces in places like Sabra and Shatila and Jerusalem.

Abou El-Enein questioned the global community's muted response. He particularly challenged Western nations, asking where their touted values of humanity and human rights stood amidst the pleas of suffering children and women in Gaza.

Potential Consequences: The Deputy Speaker offered a stern warning: the continuous aggressions in Gaza could lead the entire Middle Eastern region into turmoil, potentially drawing new international actors into the fray. Such a scenario could have ripple effects across the globe.

Abou El-Enein expressed gratitude towards Egypt's stance, especially highlighting President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's endeavors. The Egyptian leader's diplomatic efforts aim at implementing a ceasefire and ensuring an uninterrupted flow of much-needed humanitarian assistance to Palestine.

Closing his remarks, the prominent businessman honored the undying spirit of the Palestinian people. Despite enduring decades of adversity, their commitment to their homeland remains unwavering, standing as a testament to their resilience and love for their land.
