Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein said that the discussions that took place in the parliament session on Tuesday, and the statements of representatives to the Minister of Petroleum confirm the deputies' keenness and their sense of responsibility towards their constituency.
Abou El-Enein explained that these discussions do not diminish the efforts made by the Ministry of Petroleum, especially with regard to the field of exploration.
This came during Mustafa Bakry's review of the deputy's speech before the plenary session of Parliament, on his program "Facts and Secrets", broadcast on Sada El-Balad channel, .
He pointed out that the summary of what is required is to deliver gas to homes and increase job appointments, saying: "The deputies have a right to ask so."
The deputy speaker of the House of Representatives confirmed that the petroleum sector ranked first in investments, noting that it owns 74% of the total investments, in addition to that it represented 24% of the gross domestic product (GDP).
Abou El-Enein wondered about the relative weight of employment after this increase in investments in the petroleum sector, and continued: "It is time to open the door for the small investors."

He stressed the need to establish new companies in all regions, especially in Upper Egypt, to provide more job opportunities. The deputy said, “Giving the small investor the opportunity to contribute EGP 100 or EGP 1,000 can actually provide job opportunities."
The bussiness tycoon also stressed the importance of maximizing the added value of new industries, especially in the petroleum field, saying: "We all trust the minister to do this."
