A team of Spanish referees arrives in Cairo tomorrow to manage the Al-Ahly and Zamalek summit

Football Association officials have completed the procedures for the Spanish referees’ crew to arrive in Cairo tomorrow, Monday, to officiate the summit match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek scheduled for next Tuesday evening in the Egyptian League.

A few hours ago, Al-Ahly Club officials sent $70,000 to the Football Association, the value of bringing in a foreign arbitration team to manage the summit match against Zamalek in the Egyptian League.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Zamalek at seven in the evening next Tuesday at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the twenty-seventh round of the Egyptian League competition.

The Al-Ahly and Zamalek match is important in the Red Giant’s journey to correct its path in the league table, by winning all its matches to rise to the top of the competition to maintain the local title after the African coronation.
