The Ministry of Interior convened committees to review the files of inmates from correctional and rehabilitation centers nationwide to determine those eligible for pardon for the remainder of their sentences.
This is in implementation of the President's decision to celebrate Sinai Liberation Day 2025.
The committees concluded that the decision applies to 746 inmates from various correctional and rehabilitation centers who are eligible for pardon.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to implementing the modern concept of penal policy, providing various forms of care for inmates, and activating the executive role of release methods for rehabilitated convicts to reintegrate into society.
