Ali Akbar Salhi, head of the Iranian Atomic Agency, announced today that his country has planned to build a new nuclear facility at Bushehr, near the Arab Gulf, within a couple of weeks.
The Iranian official added that construction work in the new plant will last for at least six years.
He revealed that a third plant will be built in the course of eight years to come.
He affirmed that activities at “Arak” nuclear plant were accelerated significantly again after a period of freezing.
Salhi pointed out the new plants will be carried out in cooperation with both Britain and China.
He touched with steps taken to modernize “Arak” nuclear plant such as upgrading concepts of designs and maps along with providing the facility with more developed devices.
