Six Egyptian governorates announced suspending study at all schools for students, and teachers only for one day, Saturday, due to the expected unstable weather conditions, media agencies reported on Thursday.
The six governorates are Alexandria, Demiatte, Buhaira, Matrouh, Kafr El Sheikh, and Daqahlia.
It is expected that Egypt would see fierce waves of heavy showers, and unstable weather conditions especially on the north coasts, and the north of Delta.
The Director of the Center of Analysis and Weather Forecasts Dr. Mahmoud Shahin said that Egypt will see more temperatures drop, and he asked residents to wear winter clothes.
After that, the official expressed that the temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will reach through the day 15°C degrees, in addition, heavy showers will fall in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern parts of Upper Egypt with the presence of thunderstorms, and frost.
In the same context, Shahin reflected that cities located beside the Mediterranean will face unstable weather, unlike the cities located beside the Red Sea.
