About 4,000 tourists from worldwide are expected to attend Opera Aida show at Temple of Hatshepsut on October 26 and 28, Mohamed Osman, a member of the Tourism Marketing Committee in Luxor, said on Tuesday.

In statements to MENA, Osman noted that the tickets run out and all seats had been booked, a matter which proves the strong desire of tourists to watch such international shows in Egypt.

"Opera Aida is not only a unique art show, but it also gives a big push to the Egyptian economy and tourism and is a great opportunity to attract art tourism through organizing more similar shows in Luxor's temples during the winter season," Osman stated.

"The historical show gathered several Egyptian and global stars," he added, thanking the show's staff for choosing Luxor as the venue of the show.

The show will witness the participation of a galaxy of global opera singers, like Belgian star Mickael Spadaccini with experience in the role of the Egyptian Commander Radames, the Korean star Sae-Kyung Rim as the Ethiopian Princess Aida, as well as Czech star Eliska Weissova in the role of Amneris, and Greek artist Aris Argiris in the role of the Ethiopian king Amonassro.

Also, nearly 80 musicians from Lviv National Philharmonic of Ukraine will play during the show in addition to 70 others from the National Choir of Ukraine "DUMKA."
