On Friday, 39 Palestinians were killed and 58 others were injured in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources in the Strip.
The Israeli military announced on Saturday that around 300,000 individuals have evacuated from the eastern neighborhoods of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip since evacuation orders were issued on May 6th, coinciding with the start of ground operations.
Most of these evacuees have sought refuge in the humanitarian zone in the northwestern part of densely populated Rafah, home to approximately 1.4 million Palestinians.
Many of the displaced people had relocated from other areas since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7th, 2023.
