The Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Prisoners' Club have announced that the Israeli army has arrested at least 60 Palestinians in the West Bank in the past few hours, bringing the total number of arrests since the beginning of the "Aqsa Storm" to around 3480 cases.

In a statement, the commission stated, "Occupation forces have arrested around 60 citizens from the West Bank, including five female university students and former prisoners, between yesterday evening and this Sunday morning. It should be noted that some of them were later released."

The arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron and Ramallah, with additional arrests reported in Jericho, Jenin, Salfit, and Bethlehem.

The arrest campaigns were accompanied by widespread harassment, brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as extensive damage to citizens' homes.

The Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Prisoners' Club emphasized that the Israeli forces, amid the unprecedented escalation of arrest campaigns, have intensified their efforts, targeting various groups, including students in various Palestinian universities.

With these recent arrests, the total number of detentions since October 7th stands at about 3480.

This figure includes those arrested from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken as hostages.

On the other hand, the Israeli army, the General Security Service, and the Border Police announced, "The night before, 34 wanted individuals were arrested in various parts of Judea and Samaria and areas under the jurisdiction of the Regional Brigade of the Jordan Valley, including eight members affiliated with Hamas in two brigade-level campaigns.

Detained individuals were interrogated, and several suspects were questioned."

The Israeli army arrested wanted individuals in the villages of Beit Rima and Qalqilya, the village of Sa'ir, the city of Hebron, the village of Qalqas, Jericho, and the villages of Beit Ummar and Beitia.

The arrested individuals were transferred for further investigation by security agencies, and there were no reported injuries among Israeli soldiers during these operations.

The Israeli army stated in its press release that "since the outbreak of the conflict, about 2100 wanted individuals have been arrested in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Judea and Samaria Division and the Regional Brigade of the Jordan Valley, with around 1100 of them affiliated with Hamas."
