French authorities have evacuated over 3,000 people from southern France following a massive wildfire that was accidentally ignited by a tractor.
The fire, which started last Monday, has devastated about 700 hectares in the Aveyron region, with strong winds exacerbating its spread.
The blaze has forced thousands of residents and campers to flee their homes and sites.
As of now, there have been no reports of injuries. The fire is believed to have started in the neighboring Lozère region before rapidly spreading westward.
Investigators attribute the blaze to a metal fragment from farm machinery, which sparked when it came into contact with a hot surface.
