Three US troops have been killed during operations targeting Iran, according to a statement by US Central Command, as regional tensions sharply escalate.
The announcement came amid reports of extensive strikes on facilities in the Iranian capital, Tehran, carried out in what was described as a joint US-Israeli military campaign.
