Ensuring that your toddler is eating a healthy balanced diet, is one of the hardest things to do. But unfortunately, it is so much worse if your toddler is a picky eater who only eats certain foods or even won’t eat at all. So, here are 3 tips to help with your toddler’s picky eating habits:

  • Be a good example
  • Toddlers are a lot like sponges, they absorb everything around them before emptying it all out. So, make sure to be a good example. If your toddler sees you eating a healthy well-balanced meal and having a variety of different foods, he will most likely do the same.

  • Let your toddler help with the cooking
  • It is really important to involve your toddler in the cooking process for example let them help you buy the groceries, wash the fruits and vegetables, stir the ingredients and set the table. This will make the whole eating process much more exciting for them and thus, they are more likely eat what they helped in making.

  • Make the food look fun
  • Toddlers are all about the looks, so, make sure the food is presented nicely by adding colorful vegetables to their plates and cutting their sandwiches into their favorite shapes.

Make sure to respect your toddler’s tiny appetite and don’t always think he is being picky because sometimes he will be truly full.
