Israeli security forces have killed three Palestinian gunmen in the occupied West Bank, according to a statement by a police spokesperson on Tuesday.
The Israeli police and military said the men were targeted in an airstrike after being identified as planning attacks in the Jenin refugee camp area. The forces reportedly opened fire before launching an aerial strike on the group.
No immediate comment has been issued by Palestinian officials regarding the incident.
The Israeli army has been carrying out a large-scale military operation in the Jenin camp since January, an offensive that has caused significant destruction across the area.
