At least 29 people were injured after a powerful earthquake struck Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, early Sunday morning, according to the National Disaster Management Agency.
The quake, which registered a magnitude of 6.0, struck at a depth of 10 kilometers and shook the Poso region, with tremors felt in surrounding areas. Officials confirmed that two of the injured are in critical condition.
No fatalities have been reported so far.
Indonesia lies along the Pacific Ring of Fire, a highly active seismic zone where earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur frequently.
