Twenty-six Palestinians have been killed and dozens more injured, the majority of them children, since dawn on Monday as a result of the ongoing Israeli shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medical sources reported, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), that eight Palestinians were killed in the Israeli shelling of a house in Khan Yunis, and two civilians were killed in the shelling of the Shafi'i refugee camp west of the city.
The sources indicated that 10 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli shelling of a house west of Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip. Six Palestinians were also killed and others were injured in the Israeli shelling of a house west of Beit Lahia.
