The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that at least 20 people were killed and another 155 were wounded on Thursday in Israeli attack on a crowd waiting for food aid the battle-weary Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the death toll is expected to rise as the situation unfolds and casualties are taken to the Shifa Medical Complex.
The ministry also noted that dozens came under Israeli shelling while waiting for humanitarian aid close to the Kuwaiti roundabout in northern Gaza City.
According to WAFA Palestinian news agency, the roundabout has been designated for the delivery of U.N. aid, and was subject to Israeli approval.
