Two people were killed and ten others injured in an initial casualty report following US and British airstrikes on a radio station building in the Al-Hawak district of Al Hudaydah province, Yemeni media reported on Friday.
The US Central Command announced that American and British joint forces conducted strikes against 13 Houthi targets in Yemen.
The strikes were confirmed after reports of loud explosions were heard in the southern part of Yemen's capital, Sanaa, following the airstrikes.
Houthi-affiliated media reported that the American and British bombardment targeted the radio station building in the Al-Hawak district.
It was also reported that the joint forces carried out four airstrikes on Al-Hawak, located in western Yemen's Hudaydah.
Additionally, the US and UK airstrikes targeted the telecommunications network in the Hayfan district of Taiz province.
