At least 14 students and a teacher were killed in a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday.
Abbott said that the shooter is an 18-year-old teen and it is believed that he was killed in a fire exchange.
During a press conference, the governor added that the shooter left his vehicle and passed the doors of the school with a gun, and he opened the fire on the school's students.
All activities and classes at the school are suspended temporary in the aftermath of the event.
