Current humanitarian data reveals that 15% of Yemen population has been displaced due to the ongoing conflict triggered by Houthi forces.

The United Nations has predicted that the number of people in need of humanitarian aid in Yemen will rise to 19 million by 2025.

Despite the dire humanitarian situation, these challenges are part of a broader crisis that Yemen has been grappling with for decades, including civil war and regional conflicts that have significantly contributed to the current crisis.

According to the data, 15% of Yemenis are now displaced, and 50% of the country's healthcare infrastructure has been destroyed.

The conflict, which began with the Houthi coup against the legitimate government in September 2014, has decimated Yemen's health system, affecting 18.2 million people, with 60% of them being children.

The displacement of people has exacerbated poverty and increased demand for shelter, health services, and nutrition.

Humanitarian organizations are working to integrate nutrition services into daily healthcare to combat malnutrition, particularly among vulnerable groups such as children, women, internally displaced persons (IDPs), marginalized populations, and ethnic minorities.
