Fourteen people died over the weekend in the Chinese city of Shulan, due to floods caused by Typhoon Duxuri.
Northeast China, Beijing and Hubei Province are witnessing heavy rains and floods since the arrival of Typhoon "Duxuri" in the southern province of Fujian, two weeks ago.
The deaths recorded in Shulan, in the northeastern province of Jilin, follow more than 20 deaths in the past week in Beijing and Hubei. The authorities have not yet announced the death toll across the country.
Three officials were among the dead in Shulan, including the city's deputy mayor, state media reported on Sunday.
