Four people were killed and several others injured following a collision involving 13 vehicles on a Saudi Arabian highway due to poor visibility caused by a dust storm.
The local newspaper "Okaz" reported that the accident occurred on the Riyadh-Bisha Highway. The Special Forces for Road Security in the Riyadh region responded to the incident on Friday, noting that the dust storm led to multiple injuries and four fatalities.
The newspaper added, "Some of the injured were transported to the emergency department at Al-Rain General Hospital by the Red Crescent after receiving necessary first aid from medical teams. The injuries ranged from multiple fractures and internal bleeding to minor injuries."
Other injured individuals were taken to King Saud Medical City and Al-Quway'iyah General Hospital for further treatment. Seven patients were admitted for medical follow-up, while eight others were discharged after their conditions improved.
