A Pakistani official announced that 11 people were killed, and 6 others were injured, as a result of a shooting incident in the “Kurram” area in the “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” province, northwest of the country.
The English-language Pakistani Sama TV channel today, Saturday, quoted the police as saying, “Security forces arrived in the area located near the border with Afghanistan and began an investigation into the incident to determine its circumstances.”
The channel indicated that the situation is still tense in the area, while security forces are trying to restore calm.
