Luxor African Film Festival revealed the new poster of the 10th edition on Friday.
The poster depicted the harmony between ancient Egyptian civilization, the Nile, and African youth. It portrayed a young African man sailing in the Nile by a small boat to Luxor.
Mahmoud Ismail, the poster's designer, noted that the artwork reflected two concepts. The first targeted attracting the people visually through using colors symbolizing the African Identity.
On the other hand, the second concept is combining the visual African and ancient Egyptian features together highlighting Luxor's position as a center of arts in Africa.
The 10th edition of the festival will be held between 25 - 31 March.
The festival was established in 2010 aiming to promote African cinema in Egypt and encourage the rising filmmakers in the continent.
