Palestinian medical sources confirmed the deaths of 10 Palestinians, including three children, as a result of starvation and malnutrition, recorded in hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
The same sources reported, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) today, Saturday, that the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition has risen to 332 martyrs, including 124 children.
They explained that since the International Crisis Group (IPG) declared famine in the Gaza Strip on August 22, 54 deaths have been recorded, including 9 children, due to starvation.
An international food insecurity classification, in which the United Nations participates, confirmed the occurrence of famine in the Gaza Strip and predicted it would spread to the Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis governorates by the end of September.
