Zawya Launches 2nd Edition of “Italian Cinema Focus”

Today, the second edition of the "A Focus at Italian Cinema" program begins, which ends on the 27th of June. 

The activities are held at Zawya Cinema in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute.

This edition presents a variety of 6 contemporary Italian films, in addition to 4 films for the Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni, who is considered one of the most influential directors in the history of cinema, and all the films that will be shown are subtitled for the audience in both Arabic and English.

On Thursday, June 15, the Italian Cultural Center will organize, on the sidelines of the program, a musical performance by Sara Allegratta, presented by the Italian actress Isabel Russinova at 7:00 pm at the Italian Cultural Center.

It is noteworthy that Zawya Cinema presents every now and then a group of specialized cinematic programs from Egypt and from all over the European countries, which are very popular among the movie-loving public.
