Egyptian actress Wafaa El Hakim has signed on to star in the monodrama play "Wi Daret El Ayam".
Fadi Foukaih directs the play from a script by Amal Fawzy. Foukaih also serves as the interior designer of the play to transfer his artistic and directing vision in the best form.
The play addresses the human and psychological aspects of a middle-aged woman, embodied by El Hakim, and depicts all the conflicting feelings and thoughts they carry within as well as all the human experiences they went through in life, trying to find the way back to their true self again.
"Wi Daret El Ayam" will be staged at Cairo Opera House's Al-Hanager Theatre on Thursday, April 11, which falls on the second day of Eid Al-Fitr.
Rehearsals for the theatrical monodrama are underway at the Al-Hanager Theatre.
