Venezuela's President: Egyptian Museum’s Visit Will Always Be Memorable

President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro Moros recalled his visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC) with family earlier this month ahead of the COP27.

“I share this moment that will be recorded in our memory, the visit we made to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Without a doubt, an unforgettable and extraordinary experience, for what it represents, a millennium history of the Egyptian people,” the president wrote on his Facebook Page. 

On 6 November, Maduro and his family paid a visit to the Pyramids, the panorama area, and the Sphinx. They expressed their great happiness with the Egyptian civilization. 

Ashraf Mohieldin, Director General of the Pyramid District, welcomed the guests and accompanied them on a tour around the area. 

This followed a number of official visits to various Egyptian archaeological sites and museums in Cairo ahead of the COP27 summit, which was held in Egypt during 6-18 November.
