Venezuelan President opens Egyptian pavilion at Venezuela Int'l Book Fair

The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, opened Egypt's Pavilion at the current edition of the Venezuela International Book Fair 2023, where the President, accompanied by the First Lady and the Venezuelan Minister of Culture, inspected the Egyptian displays of translated and Pharaonic books, recalling his visit to Egypt last year, and praising the treasures of Egyptian civilization.

  The President asked to convey his deep appreciation for the courage of Mr. President Sisi for his stance and efforts for the Palestinian people in Gaza, stressing that he and all members of the Venezuelan people support president Sisi in order to save the Palestinian people from genocide.

For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador, Karim Essam Amin, stressed that the President and the Venezuelan people enjoy the appreciation and respect of the Egyptian people and the Arab peoples, for supporting Arab and Palestinian rights.

  Egypt is participating for the second year in a row in the Venezuela International Book Fair, within the framework of supporting and strengthening cultural relations with Venezuela and Latin American countries.
