President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Chileshe Kapwepwe, Secretary-General of the COMESA organization in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the current Egyptian presidency of COMESA, including enhancing regional supply chains among COMESA countries, maximizing industrial integration, increasing investment in cross-border infrastructure and connectivity projects, and cooperation in digital transformation areas.
Both sides agreed to continue consultation and communication to ensure a smooth transfer of the COMESA presidency from Egypt to Zambia, contributing to achieving the goals of member states.
