Sisi Back Home After 2-Day Visit to Oman, Bahrain

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi returned this evening, Wednesday, home after paying a two-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Sisi held a meeting with the King of Bahrain, His Majesty king Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at Al-Sakhir Palace in Manama and discussed boosting bilateral relations.

King Hamad bin Isa welcomed Sisi as a dear guest of Bahrain and expressed that the Bahraini people and government hold in high esteem the historical bonds and close relations with Egypt and its people in various fields.

He stressed the deep appreciation for Egypt’s strategic and pivotal role under the leadership of the President in protecting Arab national security and defending the Arab nation’s issues.

Sisi held summit talks Tuesday at Al Alam Palace in Muscat with the Sultan of Oman to discuss regional issues and boosting bilateral relations.

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq valued the prominent Egyptian role in strengthening the mechanisms of joint Arab action in facing the current crises and challenges in the region, which is a model to be followed in maintaining stability and advancement of developmental, economic and social conditions in the Arab world.
