The funeral details of prominent Egyptian actor Salah El Saadany have been disclosed.
The late star's funeral will take place after Asr prayer at the Police Mosque in the 6th of October, Giza Governorate. No date has been set for the solace ceremony yet.
The veteran actor was born on October 23, 1943, in Giza, Egypt. He has been in the entertainment industry for over 50 years now.
El Saadany, nicknamed "Omda", has starred in numerous film productions that garnered attention from people across the Arab world.
The acclaimed actor made his big breakthrough with the 1960 TV series "Al-Raheel".
El Saadany is best known for his roles in TV productions "Laialy El Helmaya'' (1987), “Abnaee al-A’izaa Shokran” (1979 ), “Arabesque”(1994), “Helm al-Ganouby” (1977), “Bayn al-Qasrein” (1987), and “al-Nas fee Kafr ‘Askar” (2003).
