Official Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady affirmed on Saturday that the Climate Summit is the largest global event, in terms of levels of representation from various countries.
In televised remarks, Rady added, "No country is chosen to host the Climate Summit except with great care, and based on this country's pivotal role and influence in the international community."
"Egypt has a pivotal role under the leadership of President Sisi at the regional and international levels, and Egypt has contributed to political negotiations of all crises in the region," he continued.
Moreover, the spokesman said that Egypt has a very balanced role in the region, highlighting its great contributions to the climate file, green transformation, and dependence on clean energy.
