CAIRO, Mar. 31. (SEE)- Nissan announced that will reveal the new 2020 Versa at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on next April.

The new Versa looks to take major cues from its bigger siblings, the Altima, Maxima and Thinner, less rounded headlights and taillights grace the car’s front and rear, while the mirrors move downward from the A-pillar to the doors according to CNET report.

Interior details expect a better kitted-out cabin made up of higher quality materials, the powertrain options for the US-spec model will include a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 122 hp of maximum power and 154 Nm of peak torque. The motor will drive the front wheels through a CVT.

Also, the US-spec Versa is even available with a 5-speed manual transmission, but it's unknown if the same would be offered on the next-gen version.

For 2019, Nissan offered two Versa compact sedans, including S and SV, that retailed for at least $13,255. The vehicle has been in its second generation since it arrived in 2012 as a 2013 model. Nissan also offers the smaller four-door Versa Note hatchback.

Today's Nissan Versa is one of the oldest compact cars you can buy، having been first introduced back in 2011 as a 2012 model. Then at the 2014 New York Auto Show، the Versa received a facelift for the 2015 model year. While the Versa is impressively affordable.
