Morocco, Saudi Arabia Discuss Security Issues

Director General of Security and Territorial Surveillance of Morocco, Abdellatif Hamouchi, discussed in Rabat, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia accredited to Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, various security issues of common concern.

At thr outset of the meeting, both sides reviewed the levels and forms of cooperation between the two countries in the security field. Moreover, they also discussed mechanisms for improving this cooperation and expanding its scope.

Furthermore, they discussed the security situation at the international and regional levels, and reviewed the risks, threats and repercussions arising from many emerging crises in the international and regional environment of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, they stressed the firm desire of the two countries to strengthen their security cooperation and exchange expertise and experiences in the police field, in a way that allows for the strengthening of their common security.
