Khaled Hanafy Discusses Organizing Arab-African Entrepreneurship Summit Next Year

Dr. Khaled Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, met at the headquarters of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna, with the Director General of the organization, Dr. Gerd Mueller.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the “Union of Arab Chambers” and “UNIDO” in the next stage. It was also agreed to put forward a number of ideas related to supporting the “UNIDO” organization in establishing and developing industrial clusters in the Arab region, at the beginning. For example, not limited to the Arab Republic of Egypt, or any other Arab country.

The discussion focused on cooperation in organizing the “Arab-African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Investment”, which is scheduled to be held in cooperation between “UNIDO” and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during the period from 8 to 10 (May), in conjunction with the activities of the annual investment forum, which is held under the auspices of the President of the UAE.
