In Pics: Sisi Inspects Road Projects in Greater Cairo

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected this Friday afternoon the construction works to develop a number of roads and axes in Greater Cairo, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"Sisi was keen to reassure the workers in the various sites about the progress of work, as well as to listen to their opinions, congratulating them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan," said Rady.

Rady added that the President's tour included an inspection of the progress of work on the Jihan El-Sadat axis, which links between downtown areas and Ramses Square to the Autostrad Road, as well as the construction works of the Hassaballah Al-Kafrawi axis, which links south Cairo in the Maadi area to the Asmarat neighborhood, in addition to the final stages of Dr. Samira Moussa axis linking the Asmarat neighborhood and the areas of East Cairo and New Cairo.
