CAIRO, Mar. 10 (SEE)- Egyptologist Zahi Hawass delivered on Sunday the catalog of King Tutankhamun's hall to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

This came during his meeting with Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al Anani, and General Supervisor of the works of GEM Atef Muftah. The meeting discussed a proposal to prepare an opera for the Golden King, in preparation for the opening of the Museum in 2020. Hawass wrote the opera over a period of 6 months in cooperation with the famous Italian author Francesco Santocono and musician Giovanni Zamboni.

The catalog will be Egypt's gift to the world on the day of the museum's inauguration. It will address the life of King Tutankhamun, including its dramatic events. Hawass has written 16 books in English including one in Arabic language on the golden king. The catalog is a gift from Hawass to the Museum for his keenness on the  the project's success.

Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered on the western bank of Luxor in 1922.
