Emirati influencer Rashid Belhasa posted a video on Instagram, in which he was teaching American YouTuber Speed how to perform Muslim prayer (Salah).
Belhasa captioned the video: “Proud of my brother Saeed.” The video sparked allegations that the American star converted to Islam.
Speed published a number of photos on his Instagram from his visit to the UAE and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. He commented in Arabic; "Alhamdulillah."
His visit to the UAE came after attending Portugal's match against Switzerland in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar.
The American YouTuber seemed angry due to the absence of his favorite star, Cristiano Ronaldo, from the match.
