On Sunday, the Eiffel Tower will be lit up in Pink as a declaration of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign.

The Eiffel Tower turned to pink annually since 2014. The pink light will last from 10 pm until 00.45 pm.

Some sparkles will be launched during the five minutes of each hour.

The “Pink October” is one of the activities that is greatly supported by Paris.

The campaign takes place in Paris on October 1.

Moreover, this year, more landmarks will celebrate the campaign like the Champs-Elysées.

Two other buildings will be lit up in pink : the Arc de Triomphe and the National Assembly.

This event is mainly dedicated to supporting all medical and scientific efforts related to Breast Cancer, in addition to raising awareness of the disease.

Also, the 2023 edition will see the avenue des Champs-Élysées opening its doors for breast cancer soldiers and fighters.

A symbolic walk and gathering for doctors, medical staff members, and patients will be organized. All participants will be dressed in pink or white.

Moreover, a number of iconic celebrities will participate in the event like Jenifer, who will perform at the launching ceremony of the event.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation established the Pink October to enhance the process of raising the awareness campaigns that are organized in October.

Each annual edition carries a special theme and powerful message about the importance of research.

The annual “Pink October” campaign targets providing a space of light, and power to support women who pass through the aching and painful phases of breast cancer. It is like shining a light to celebrate the efforts and the courage of those women.

It is worth mentioning that October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM).

This month is an annual international health campaign supported by various prestigious and effective breast cancer foundations to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds for research, treatment, and prevention.
