The Holy month of Ramadan is fully of blessings, gatherings and lots of food, this is why SEE decided to trace all Egyptian communities around Europe and how they celebrate the Holy month in atmospheres full of unity and joy.
France:
Ehab Badawi, Ambassador of Egypt in France, is always keen to hold an annual Ramadan breakfast at his residence in Paris. Since taking office, It has become an annual tradition in an atmosphere full of love, bringing together members of the diplomatic mission and community figures from Islamic and Christian clergy and public activists.
The guests were welcomed by Ambassador Badawi and his family, who welcomed the Egyptian Community in France and offered congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ramadan Breakfast tables included several famous Egyptian food. The guests talked about their experiences in France and formed a bond with one another.
The gathering was blessed by the presence of Sheikh Mohammed Abu Hadid, the Emam of Shafi Lari Mosque and the head of the religious committee of the Egyptian community in France Father Dr. Gregg Luka, and the patron of the Coptic Church, Father Joseph.
The Coptic Youth Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Abdelhamid Naqrish General Secretary of the Union, Gabriel Mahfouz, the Federation's head, the President of the Solidarity Society, in addition to a number of heads of civil associations and media youth.
Norway:
The Egyptian Embassy in Norway organized a breakfast for the Egyptian community in Oslo in the presence of Ambassador Mahi Hassan Abdel Latif and a group of Egyptian and Norwegian businessmen and the Secretary-General of the community, Tarek Anani. The Ambassador gave a speech on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Holland:
The Cleopatra Community Foundation organized a group breakfast with the Egyptian community in Amsterdam, in addition to several other Arab and foreign civilians in an atmosphere full of love and unity.
Italy:
Ambassador of Egypt in Italy Mr. Hesham Badr organized a Ramadan Iftar, in which all the Egyptian community in Italy, in addition to prominent figures, were invited.
Among the attendees were Egypt’s Ambassador in the Vatican Mahmoud Sammy, Former Egyptian Ambassador in the Vatican Waffaa Bassim, The head of Military Communications in Italy Hany Othman, in addition to the new Consul Samah Abdemoneim.
London:
The Egyptian Community in London gathered in order to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, in company of Mr. Gan Azziz, head of Arab human rights in Europe.
