EgyptAir Operates 14 Flights to Transport Pilgrims.

EgyptAir will operate 14 flights today to transport pilgrims from the Holy land back to their home country. 

The flights include 9 Jeddah-Cairo flights and 5 Madinah-Cairo flights, carrying pilgrims from the Ministry of Interior, Civil Aviation, Tourism and Antiquities, transit pilgrims, foreigners, individuals and work visa holders.

During the Hajj season, EgyptAir transported 35,000 pilgrims to the holy sites on 150 flights, with 78 flights to Jeddah and 72 flights to Madinah. 

This included the transportation of 11,000 pilgrims from the lottery, 5,300 pilgrims from social solidarity organizations and associations, 8,600 pilgrims from tourism and individuals, and 10,000 pilgrims in transit. 

In addition, 7,400 Malian pilgrims were transported via air bridge and 3,000 Palestinian pilgrims were transported on 31 flights.
