Culture Min. Declares Solidarity with France in Notre Dame Cathedral Fire Incident

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture has expressed its solidarity with the great French people in the incident of the fire that broke out in the historic tower Notre Dame Cathedral.

The Cathedral is a great historic and spiritual symbolism that dates back to 700 years.

Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, affirmed her support with the friendly French people and the government that has distinguished and historical relations with Egypt.

The minister said Cairo remembers its noble initiatives especially in the field of protecting and safeguarding Egyptian human heritage.

She added that Egypt has the total confidence in the French capabilities to revive this historic religious edifice to its previous glimmering status.
