In line with with the celebration of Sinai’s liberation, the Media College of the British University in Egypt (BUE) is organizing the sixth annual edition of the “War and Peace” Photography Competition.

This year’s festivity embraces the inauguration of a conceptual exhibition "State of Peace" by Dr. Fatima Hamdi as well as the launching of BUE Radio.

Dr. Ahmed Hamad, BUE President, will commence the contest in the presence of several faculty members.

The participating photographs reinforce the concepts of national identity and expose the dangers and hopes of war and peace.

A financial award of EGB 50,000 is allocated for the winners of the first three places. The other winners will be granted certificates and medals.

The competition, organized by the College of Media, aims to find an aesthetic snapshot of peace and war, whether in a realistic or conceptual way.

Another goal is to encourage young and talented elements and to enhance students' national identity.
