Jennie Kim, a member of the South Korean girl band BLACKPINK, visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, wearing a hijab (veil).

Fans on social media hailed Jennie's commitment to the rules and customs of visiting a mosque by wearing a hijab and respecting the Islamic culture.

One Twitter user wrote: “So great to see such morals just wow.” Another one commented: “Jennie visited a mosque and it’s nice of her to respect their culture. She’s looking so beautiful.”

BLACKPINK recently performed a concert in Abu Dhabi in line with their “Born Pink” world tour.

Meanwhile, the group is set to headline the 2023 Coachella festival, along with Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean, making history as the first K-pop act to close out the festival's main stage.

The girl band will be on stage on the first and second Saturdays of the festival.

In November 2022, Jennie looked ravishing on Elle's cover, making fans go crazy over the photos.

She opened up about her acting debut with The Weeknd, the group’s latest album, Born Pink, and more.

“The Idol” will mark Jennie’s debut acting role, in which she is credited as Jennie Ruby Jane. It is set to premiere on HBO this year.
