Bassir: Tutankhamun's Expo to Decorate Paris after 52 Year Absence

CAIRO, Jan. 9 (SEE)- Dr. Hussein Abd El- Bassir, director of the Archeology Museum at Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced that ''Tutankhamun's'' exhibition will move to the French capital on March, after absence of 52 years. Through this exhibition which is expected by all in Paris, 150 pieces of the treasures of golden Pharaoh tomb will be displayed.

The expo will be held under title "Treasure of the Pharaoh" from 23 March to 15 September 2019, at the ''Grand Hall de la Villette'', after an absence of 52 years from "Paris", where the Golden Pharaoh was displayed under the titled "Tutankhamun and his time" in" Loboti Ballet Palace'', which witnessed more than 1.2 million visitors in 1967; 45 pieces of precious golden pharaoh treasures were displayed.

The 'French gathered in queues to visit the grand exhibition to see the treasures of rare golden ''Pharaoh'' and as a result, the exhibition was extended for months.

Paris is the second station of this exhibition after Los Angeles, one of the 10 main cities around the world. The exhibition is held by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and includes a number of beautiful pieces of gold ornaments, carvings, statues and funerary furniture. It is part of the 100th anniversary of the Golden Pharaoh's tomb discovery.

Egypt is sponsoring this unique exhibition as part of a world tour among the countries of the world for the golden pharaoh's effects. It is expected that the expo will increase the number of tourists to Egypt in order to see its unique pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic influences at Egypt's land.

Howard Carter the British archaeologist discovered the golden pharaoh ''Tutankhamun'' tomb in the Kings Valley on the west bank of Luxor on November 4, 1922; it was the most important archaeological discovery in 20th century.
