Aswan International Women Film Festival to Launch Soon..“Barbara Bouchet” Guest of Honor

CAIRO, Feb 7 (SEE)- Aswan International Women Film Festival (AIWFF), in its third edition, will open doors on February 20th and last for 6 days.

This edition is sponsored by ministries of culture and tourism, the National Council for Women and Cinematographers Association.

The International Actress Barbara Bouchet, who acted in more than 80 films with most popular directors worldwide as well as other plays and television episodes, will be this round’s guest of honor.

In the opening ceremony, festival’s management declared third edition will honor Egyptian actresses Mohsena Tawfik and Menna Shalaby.

Moreover, in closing ceremony, each of Designer Nawal, Film Editor Laila Fahmy, Subtitle Translators Aida, Azza and Abla Anis Ebeid will also be honored.

Actress Laila Elwy is going to be the head of arbitration committee of big film competition, and for short film one, French director Julia Mirezova will head arbitration committee that includes Egyptian Actress Yousra Al-Lozi and Jordanian director Yahya Al-Abdullah.

Training workshops will be organized during festival events in scenario, documentary films and animation industry for both grownups and children
