365 aid trucks crossed into the Gaza Strip via the Rafah and Karm Abu Salem crossings on Tuesday, according to Al-Qahera News channel.
The Egyptian state TV announced that the Rafah border crossing will remain operational during Eid al-Fitr, which began on Wednesday.
Since the start of the war on October 7th, Egypt has been providing aid to Gaza through ground crossings and multiple airdrops.
However, due to Israeli-enforced limitations, Egyptian drivers and trucks are not allowed to be present in the same location as Palestinian drivers and trucks at the same time. This results in handovers being problematic and less efficient.
