An explosion occurred near the area of "Sultan Ibrahim Khan Road" in the town of "Khuzdar" in Pakistan, resulting in the death of 3 individuals, including the head of the "Khuzdar Press Club," and injuring eight others.
The blast occurred near the vehicle of journalist Muhammad Sadiq as he was crossing the road on his way to Khuzdar University, where he was fatally wounded, according to the Pakistani newspaper "The Niche" today, Saturday.
The journalist's body and the injured were transported to a nearby hospital, where two of them succumbed to their injuries during initial treatment.
Several months ago, unidentified gunmen had opened fire on the local journalist Muhammad Sadiq, but he survived the attack.
It is suspected that the explosion was caused by a remotely controlled bomb.
Authorities are conducting further investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
